A Personal Sanctuary
I’ve been going to Calvary for about 31 years
and have stayed with it even though there is an Episcopal Church in New
Providence where I live. Calvary is a comfortable place to go. For two
hours every Sunday it’s a personal sanctuary. My daughters enjoyed going
to Calvary when they were growing up.Although it was harder to be involved
with the church when I was working in New York City, I’ve taught Sunday
school, worked on stewardship canvasses and ushered.
Giving to the church is
up to you and how you feel about it. The people and clergy at Calvary have
been wonderful. It’s important to support the church as much as I can.
