Support for Calvary Means So
Much More My
initial involvement with Calvary came when my children were in Sunday
school. I met other parents and one thing led to another. My son is part
of the choir and I enjoy supporting the music and worship. I also work on
the committee for the annual Women of Calvary House Tour.
The more active I’ve
gotten within Calvary, the more I see the need for money. It has been
motivating to know the financial realities of the parish. When you see the
physical things that need to be done, you want to help do them.
Calvary is very much a
community. Since I don’t live near my family, that’s especially important.
I compare my pledge to Calvary with what membership in the Y costs or what
my kids might spend on a hobby, and I know that my support for Calvary
means so much more.
