Calvary Chorale
Formed in 1973, the Calvary Chorale consists primarily consisting of Calvary’s Adult Choir members, but also attracts other area singers. The Chorale presents both sacred and secular choral music with its intended instrumentation. It performs in its own series of four concerts per year, and sponsors another four or five concerts or recitals by various other artists.

The Chorale Series has proven to be quite successful over the past thirty years, attracting audiences from far and near to enjoy music in the splendor of a beautiful space. Many types of music are performed: large sacred choral works, pops concerts, organ recitals, vocal recitals, operatic concerts, folk music, vocal jazz, and more. The Chorale depends solely on contributions from its audience, and, we hope, a continuing grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts, to fund its concerts. All soloists are paid, professional orchestras are hired for many of our performances, and, of course, visiting artists are also paid.
