Worship at Calvary
Our parish has strong traditions of worship and music. Our liturgy, from the Book of Common Prayer, follows the order of services printed in the bulletin.

Sunday morning worship includes two services, the 8:00 a.m. Holy Eucharist Rite I and the 10:00 a.m. Eucharistic Rite II, which includes the Adult Choir and the St. Ceclia Choir. The Cradle Room, staffed with experienced caregivers, is available for children three and under.

Believing that the altar in the church is God’s, not our own, we invite all who are baptized or believe in Jesus to share communion, including children. Receive the bread wafer in your outstretched palm, then take a sip of wine or dip the wafer lightly when the chalice comes to you.

We welcome you to worship in the way you find most comfortable. There are also opportunities actively assist in the celebration:

Lay Readers, Chalicists and Intercessors
These are men and women whose ministry is to read the Lessons, lead the intercessory prayers of the people and assist the clergy with the serving of the Eucharist.

Men and women create a welcoming, relaxing atmosphere for worship by serving those who enter our doors. Robert Jones Ushers for the 8:00AM service can also contact Charles Rice.
